What I love most about smoothies is that it makes getting in your servings of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds SUPER easy. You just throw it all in to the blender and VIOLA, glory in a glass!
Ready in 5 minutes
1 cup frozen berry or fruit blend
1 handful leafy greens like kale or spinach
1 1/2 cups liquid, like almond milk, coconut milk, or coconut water (add more to reach desired consistency)
1 Tbsp peanut, almond, or cashew butter (optional)
1-2 Tbsp flax, chia, and/or hemp seeds (optional)
1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (optional)
Load all your ingredients in to a blender, cover, and blend on HIGH for 1-2 minutes.
Pour in to a glass or to-go cup and enjoy!
